'MONOIGRAM DESIGN: HUMAN OR ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE?'
Workshop Leader: Prof. Dr. Hakan Ertep
This workshop questions the presence of artificial intelligence in our lives and design through Logotype Design or Monogram, which is defined as the process of creating visual symbols using typefaces. Participants work on monograms using tools such as pencils, thick-tipped markers and computer programs in the workshop, going through various stages. At the end of the workshop, the aims are to show that original monogram works can be done without using digital tools, to evaluate the result in terms of design when the same work is done by artificial intelligence, and to compare human and mechanical decision makers.
