İzmir Culture, Art and Education Foundation (İKSEV) organized by, "Dr. Nejat F. Eczacıbaşı National Composition Contest" held in 1996, the first one.
The first contest Evaluation Meeting attended by 24 of the work were held in Izmir on Saturday, March 23, 1996.
Chairman of the Selection Committee as a member of the meeting Usmanbaş Cenan Ilhan Ali Erol Erdinc, Rengim Gökmen, Nevit Kodallı, Hikmet Simsek and Genghis Tanck participated.
In accordance with the conditions specified in the specification and assessment method,
- First prize, Hasan Uçarsu'ya,
- Second prize, Nejat Başeğmezler,
- Third prize, Server Acim'e given.
- Honorable Mention, Aydin Karlıbel
